Smart Start Resource Center

This is a library filled with toys!  Indoor, outdoor, educational, musical…toys!  They also have books, puzzles, games, manipulatives, videos, play furniture and a whole lot more.  The Center was created to provide preschool children with supplies needed for high quality educational opportunities.  To become a member, you must live in Union County, NC and have a child not yet in kindergarten. Annual Membership Fees for parents are $10.00 with 5 items allowed at checkout  or  $15.00 with 15 items allowed at checkout.
The SmartStart Resource Center is on the campus of South Piedmont Community College which is loacted at 4209 Old Charlotte Hwy. (at Rogers Road) in Monroe, NC.  Their phone number is (704) 290-5875.
 Hours of Operation are M,W,Th 8:30 – 4:45pm, Tue. 8:30 – 8:00pm, Fri. 8:30 – 3:00pm and Sat. 9:00 – 2:00pm.
